    2. Verses believed to be revealed to the prophet (on the authority of: Ibn Ishaq, and his student Ibn Hisham)  toward the end of the Mekkan period. He acted upon them thinking they were of a divine revelation -or so the story goes-, until such time he received a divine warning about these specific verses, he was command to abrogate them and these "satanic verses" were replaced with ones of a divine origin.

The Christ between Islam and christianity

Islam: ideology and charactersThe nature of the Christ is a millennia old hot topic of discussion between Christians and Muslims, in which Christian theology tried to assert the position that Jesus the Christ is a god and a son of the Almighty, with a nature consist of divine as well as human attributes.

The embryo development stages as proclaimed by the Quran

Quran: The Word of GodDid the Quran really explained stages of embryonic development in the womb.

"A totally objective examination of it [the Qur'an] in the light of modern knowledge, leads us to recognize the agreement between the two, as has been already noted on repeated occasions. It makes us deem it quite unthinkable for a man of Muhammad's time to have been the author of such statements on account of the state of knowledge in his day. Such considerations are part of what gives the Qur'anic Revelation its unique place, and forces the impartial scientist to admit his inability to provide an explanation which calls solely upon materialistic reasoning."

Abrogation, the authorized distortion of the faith

Quran: The Word of GodThe principal of abrogation is one of the most controversial subjects in Islamic Fiqh, it was and still is regarded as a hot topic through the ages.
For some, those who reject this principle are considered suspicious at best, while others go to the extreme of considering any rejecter as an unbeliever, and even a convert.

     Women status In Islam

Quran: The Word of GodThe modern world, when it comes to women's right in general, accuses Islam of sex segregation, depravation of rights, and a complete and total male domination in their societies, and a whole host of other atrocities which come as a natural result of such attitude taken by Muslims toward women.
All of these accusations are perfectly correct. The mistake however lies in the stipulating that the core reason for such treatment in Islamic societies is the teachings of Islam and the Quran.
Nothing could be further from the truth in such assumption. It is our intentions to show that it is bigotry not faith, the reason behind the gender prejudice, and opposite to the common understanding, Quranic teachings were among the first which liberated women and called for equity in responsibility and privileges within set limits and parameters apply to both genders, and that in the Islamic case, it is despite the Quran’s teachings, such prejudice and injustice still exist.

But women will be saved through childbearing—if they continue in faith, love and holiness with propriety.

Islam between the tradition and the Quran

Islam: ideology and charactersFor the non Muslim, the difference between the SUNA and KORAN could be indistinguishable. However, in reality there is a major and a profound difference between the two.
This matter becomes expressively important, when one is trying to validate certain considerations exist in the text of Koran, relying on the sunah, as is the case when explain Koranic verses with the transmitted traditions and narrations.

Islam: ideology and charactersIn his 1978 book “the one hundred most influential persons in history”, Michael H. Hart, a Princeton PhD. Astrophysicist, selected what seemed to most, an odd choice to head his 100 most influential persons list.
    Mr. Hart defense was that his choice is an obvious one in light of the successfully foretoken accomplishment on, the spiritual, political, as well as the administrative fronts, by Muhammad Ibn Abdullah the Prophet of Islam;

Islam: ideology and charactersStill, it was too early for the prophet to call it a day and declare his victory, for shortly after Uhud, it seemed like Abu-Sufyan recognized his blunder; and in an effort to minimize the danger from Medina and to contain the Muslims, Quraish sought a set of alliances with those who did not favor Muhammad and Islam, of the Arabic tribes of the region.

     The Quran I

Quran: The Word of GodWhen one is arguing the validity of a book which is considered to be of a divine revelation, few important points need to be clarified. Chief among them is: “How can we be sure that such revelation is indeed of God and a divine inspiration?”
In matters of faith, a universal answer among the faithful will summurize the concept that "We either believe or we do not!"; hence the question itself is senseless; That is to say that really there is no satisfying answer.

     The Quran II

Quran: The Word of GodLike every spiritual book the Koran contained more than few stories about past civilizations, for the purpose of drawing parallels to extract a conclusion. A knowledgeable investigator will un-doubtfully reach the unescapable conclusion that “some of these stories contains information that was not available at the time, and barely became common in the past 100 years or so.”
Unlike other books which proclaim divine origin, the Quran made undisputable and clear predictions of events to come, part of which indeed already happened.
In this essay we will examine some of these predictions trying to shed light on a subject that few non Muslims talk about for the obvious reasons.
